The first San Bernardino County location for the rapidly growing Five Guys Burgers and Fries is planned to open in March, a franchisee for the Virginia-based chain said.
“We’re going to be putting in quite a few stores in San Bernardino and Orange (counties) and this is our first one,” said Greg Anderson, who along with his son Kyle is the Rancho Cucamonga store’s franchisee.
The Rancho Cucamonga spot is still under construction at Haven Court, which is at the western end of the Lewis Group of Companies’ Terra Vista development. Store managers have already been hired, and applicants for crew positions are still being considered, Anderson said.
And if the chain’s expansion plans come to fruition, Five Guys will become a common sight in the Inland Empire and rest of the state.
