Danielle Danault had been teaching aerobics for 20 years before a sudden insight led to the founding of her company Cardio Plein Air (Outdoor Fitness).
It happened on the return from a conference she attended in Toronto in 2000.
“When I was driving back, I saw how park benches, picnic tables and trees could be used like traditional gym equipment,” she says. “(I) decided at that moment it would be a good idea to offer fitness training for people during their workday. That’s how it all started.”
