The United Franchise Group (UFG), based in West Palm Beach, Florida, launched almost 200 new businesses in 2010. UFG consists of five industry-leading franchise brands including SIGNARAMA, EmbroidMe, Plan Ahead Events, Billboard Connection and Transworld Business Advisors. New businesses were established this year in the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom. Additionally, Master Licenses were awarded and opened in locations around the globe, including new locations in Colombia, Mexico, Singapore, and Canada just to name a few of the countries where Master Licenses were granted.
UFG is projecting its growth trend will continue into 2011, with a goal of adding up to another 300 franchise locations around the world in the coming year. Those locations include new SIGNARAMA stores, the world’s leading sign franchise; EmbroidMe, the world’s largest embroidery franchise; Plan Ahead Events, which offers home-based corporate event planning; Billboard Connection, an out-of-home advertising agency; and Transworld Business Advisors, which provides business brokerage and franchise development services.
