Jimmy John’s Franchisee Finds Ideal Location In Chattanooga

The lunch rush had slowed to an easier pace, but the overflow of excitement hovered in the air as about 10 Jimmy John’s employees worked into the afternoon at the store on Market Street last week.

The sound of “Benny and the Jets” and a buzz of energy filled the air as employees — mainly college-aged males — occasionally cheered as a customer came or left.

“It flows my adrenaline,” Jimmy John’s employee Matt “Sparky” Korp, 20, said of his job.

According to restaurant industry news source, qsrmagazine.com, the Jimmy Johns brand is growing at the rate of 150-plus units a year, with 80 percent of them opened by existing franchisees.
