The nation’s biggest Taco Bell franchisee closed its Signal Mountain restaurant this week because of poor sales at that store, but the company is reopening its tornado-damaged Taco Bell in Ringgold, Ga., today.
Tacala LLC, the Birmingham, Ala.-based chain that operates 24 Taco Bell restaurants in its Chattanooga region, shut down the Taco Bell on Taft Highway on Signal Mountain on Tuesday night.
“It was a business decision, and we hope consumers will visit our other Taco Bell locations, including our nearby unit in Red Bank,†Tacala marketing Vice President Marjorie Perlman said Wednesday.
