Three years after starting a baking business in Livonia with a couple of kitchen mixers and a few cupcake tins, Pam and Todd Turkin have opened a 17,000-square-foot production facility for their Just Baked cupcake business.
On Thursday, the Farmington Hills couple celebrated with a grand opening at their new facility at 31805 Glendale with business partners Garden Fresh Salsa, elected officials, employees and family members.
The company has grown from the early start in 2008 from the site of the former Burkhardt Bakery on Seven Mile near Farmington Road to seven stores in Livonia, Ann Arbor, Brighton, Canton, Novi, Royal Oak and Troy. Read on…
