Tony Packo’s Near Sale To Burger King Franchisee

An iconic northwest Ohio hot dog chain is on the verge of being sold to a fast food franchiser, the Toledo Blade reports.

TP Foods LLC offered $5.5 million to buy Tony Packo’s Inc.‘s name, recipes and signed hot dog buns, the newspaper reports. Bob Bennett, who owns TP Foods and 26 Burger King restaurants in the area, also would receive all of Tony Packo’s real estate, equipment and liquor and operating permits in the deal, the Blade reports.
