North County Times:

Burgers aren’t the first thing you think of for an elevated dining experience, but a new quick-service restaurant chain is hoping to change your mind.

Elevation Burger opened its first West Coast restaurant three months ago in the Bressi Ranch Village Center. Franchise owner Ron Weinberg said he plans to open four more in San Diego County within the next five years.

The chain’s logo is a snowy Rocky Mountains-style landscape, but the Virginia-based company has no connection to Colorado. Weinberg said the mountains represents the elevation of the chain’s cuisine.
