The Meat House is opening a new concept store in the King’s Highway Plaza, the former home of Blockbuster, and plans to offer more accoutrements and specialty groceries for customers with an eye on prepared food and fresh seafood. The projected opening date will be late January to early February.
The Meat House will close its location at On the Vine in Exeter where it operates a meat counter, but will do so after the New Year. On the Vine has said that it will continue a meat counter at its location.
“Business has been great and the community has been fabulous,” said Cary Tober, director of sales and marketing at the Meat House. “We’ve never been more excited to move into a new location. We are going beyond just the meats and giving the customers everything they need for a meal. It’s a convenient spot that they can get in and get out and have everything they need. A location like this supports our customers in making the shopping experience more comfortable.”
