David Blugre Ready To Take On Goliaths In Coffee Biz

It may be lightweight in coffee business globally, but Blugre Coffee is ready to take on the heavyweights as the homegrown company embarks on a massive expansion program starting this year.

“We believe in the David and Goliath story. We want to be the next best coffee among the big companies worldwide,” Blugre Coffee founder and consultant Gatchi Gatchalian said at the Blugre coffee shop at SM City Davao Monday.

Blugre is eyeing to open 500 branches within the next four years, including a planned invasion of the foreign market like Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Las Vegas, Canada and Paris.

For this year alone, Blugre is opening a total of 20 branches in the Davao Region, Luzon and Visayas.
