Franchises as Business Ideas

I just posted this comment on the South Carolina Startup Blog, but I thought it would be useful to post here.

In response to:

Quite a few [of the business ideas that Dane profiles] are franchise-based, which may not fit your definition of a startup idea (lets face it, a franchise is a system to apply someone else’s idea), but this is not exclusively a franchise site.

I said:

Although we profile a ton of franchise opportunities, we’re not doing it to promote the sale of a specific franchise. Rather, I try to illustrate that there really are an unlimited number of ways to make money from any single business idea. Some people start franchises, while other’s can take an idea and apply their own unique perspective and implement their own business model.

    here in our country,franchises business is really fast growing, specially in food cart franchise,coz its an all in one package bisuness, thats is why its easy to start and it is a portable type too.it is has also a small capital kind of bisiness and it is really great!
