Mom Pours More Than Heart Into Her Business, She Pours Candle Wax Too

It has been 2 1/2 years since Luminous Glow Candle Company was born. Since then, Belinda has found that right combination. Currently, her hand poured soy candles are housed in 19 retail locations in the Tampa Bay area including Carrollwood Florist and Abby’s Heath and Nutrition. Much of her business also comes from schools, churches, groups and leagues who sell her candles as fund raisers. In the spring and fall, she travels all over the state of Florida doing various arts and crafts shows and in February of 2010 Luminous Glow Candle Company will be at the Florida State Fair.
Belinda makes the candles in her West Tampa home and would not have it any other way. She uses a 100 lb. wax vat melter for larger orders and fundraisers and 10 lb “presto” pots for smaller orders and carries over 80 scents from which to choose.
