Kid Inventors Wanted!

Imagine a toothbrush so much fun to use that kids would brush their teeth without a single reminder from Mom or Dad.

Dr. Fresh is asking second through fifth graders across the U.S. to dream up just such a toothbrush with the “Be A Dental Inventor” contest — the fourth annual toothbrush design contest according to a story on BusinessWire.

Dr. Fresh, the company known for its bright and sparkly FireFly toothbrushes that light up and flash to encourage thorough brushing, is challenging kids to come up with the ultimate kid-friendly toothbrush, one that is not only easy, but fun to use.

Kids in second through fifth grades are asked to invent, design, and submit a drawing of their fantasy toothbrush and explain why they think it will appeal to other kids.

The first prize winner and a parent or guardian will receive a trip to Buena Park, California, where they will visit the Dr. Fresh headquarters, as well as enjoy a day at the nearby Disneyland Resort.

The winner will also receive a $500 U.S. Savings Bond, while two runners up will each receive a $250 U.S. Savings Bond.
