Local Hardee’s Owner Wins Franchisee Of The Year

For the fourth year in a row, Dave Peterson, owner of the International Falls Hardee’s restaurant, won the Franchisee of the Year award from the Hardee’s corporation.

“If it wasn’t for local support from the International Falls community we never would have won this award,” Peterson said. “The tourist business is great, but your locals are what makes your business.”

The International Falls Hardee’s was the only restaurant in the nation to win the award under the single unit operator category. The award is based on assessment scores, sales increases and financial criteria, said Becky Salacki, director of franchise service and administration for CKE Restaurants. CKE owns the Hardee’s franchise.
