Dragons Den: Inventors Wanted
Get ready to pitch your idea to the producers of Dragons’ Den when they visit the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce (2575 Ouellette Place) on Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Pre-registration is strongly recommended and you do need to be prepared:
- Act like this is the real thing. Present how you would in front of the Dragons!
- Know your stuff! You will be questioned about details, funding and more.
- Bring samples. The best way to get your point across is to demonstrate and give people something to hold, taste, etc.

I would not like to participate on the Dragons den because of Kevin. The reason why is my definition of a good investor is the uncanny ability to foresee potential, and Kevin does not know how to do this. He want to see invention already making money before he invests. I thought if the show is suppose to be showcasing new inventive ideas, so new, that marketing has not yet been applied, that is why new inventive ideas need investors marketing skills. While i was watching the show, it is only in Arlene’s eyes and Mark’s that i seem to detect this uncanny ability. Kevin is so busy thinking negatively there is no room for anything else. Investors that are able to get in on the ground floor, and what i mean by this is prior to the demand developed by that particular invention”or new business idea” being established. This is when the window of opportunity for investors to get the best deal. Remember what seems to be big risk = big profit and little risk “is what Kevin is looking for” = small profit, works the same in the stock market. and what make that big risk seem small is that uncanny ability i spoke of previously. Sorry but i don’t blame Arlene for walking off the stage because of you Kevin. Best regards FREELANCE ENGINEER… and possibly the new CMO of RIM (makers of blackberry) i hope (: lol
