Two local boxing legends have joined forces to invent a machine that has revolutionised training methods in the hard-hitting industry.
Joe Fazio (71), founder of the Original Balga Boxing Club, and his son Rai (45) recently unveiled the Box Master – an all-in-one workout tool for boxers of all skills and ages.
The creation was developed over the past two years by Rai, under the watchful eye of his father, and is now being bought by gyms worldwide.
With a custom design that suits both professional and home set-ups, the machine allows users to work on their punch combinations through a multi-pad design.
A boxer for more than 60 years, Joe praised his son for building a device that takes the pressure off instructors.
“It’s just a beautiful, one-in-a-million idea,†Mr Fazio said.
