Qdoba Mexican Grill Set To Open Several Tarrant County Locations

Fort Worth Business Press:

Citing a demographically strong, yet ‘underserved’ market, Qdoba Mexican Grill is forging ahead with Tarrant County expansion plans, including four to six new locations this year and 40 new sites in Dallas-Fort Worth in the next five years.

Qdoba executives say they are working with Arlington resident Bassam Odeh, who owns all seven of the current Qdoba locations in the Metroplex, to open a targeted four to six additional locations in Tarrant County. Qdoba also is meeting with prospective Qdoba franchisees with plans to open 40 new locations in the area during the next three to five years.

Qdoba, a fast-casual Mexican concept, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jack in the Box Inc. and plans to open its 500th unit this summer. The Wheat Ridge, Colo.-based company currently operates in 44 states with 70 percent of its national operations franchised.

Current Tarrant County locations include 550 Throckmorton St., 6002 Camp Bowie Blvd., and 4101 S. Cooper St.
