Dunwoody Crier:

Robb Dillon is exactly where he didn’t want to be when he was looking into opportunities to open his own business a few years ago.

Dillon, owner of the New York Butcher Shoppe that opened in Dunwoody in April, had decided he didn’t want to own a franchise or be in the food or restaurant business. He said he was under the impression that franchisees had little control over their businesses, and as a father of small children he didn’t want to work the long hours required to ensure the success of a restaurant.

That all changed when Dillon, a former sports marketing and media sales executive with Turner Sports Sales, found the New York Butcher Shoppe website after two years searching for the type of business of wanted to venture into. Full story.
