The nation’s largest Jiffy Lube franchisee will move its 55-employee headquarters from Omaha to Dallas.
Heartland Automotive Services Inc., 11308 Davenport St., said Friday its new office, within minutes of the Dallas-Fort Worth airport, would provide efficient access to the 17 markets where it has nearly 400 Jiffy Lube locations across the country.
“We love Omaha. It’s a great city,” said Alan Barrington, vice president of human resources, but the Dallas airport has many daily flights to locations important to the company, from Seattle to Boston, Los Angeles to Memphis. Dallas also is in the center of the southern United States, where the company expects to grow the most, he said.
The company wants its entire corporate staff to relocate to Dallas, he said. The move would start late this summer or in the early fall and be completed by the end of the year.
