National restaurant chain Firehouse Subs is cooking up big expansion plans for Kansas City, planning to jump from two to 26 locations during the next several years.
CEO Don Fox came to town Wednesday to promote the Jacksonville, Fla., chain’s Public Safety Foundation and raise the profile of its expansion efforts.
Firehouse already has set plans for two more locations — one in Overland Park and one on the Country Club Plaza — and is signing on a fourth franchisee, Fox said. But the company is looking for three or four more franchisees to help with its expansion push.
