Nature’s Table Franchise Co. is returning to downtown Orlando’s central business district with a concept the owner began with 31 years ago.
The Orlando-based chain plans to open a new The Garden Patch by Nature’s Table Cafe in the Lincoln Plaza in a space formerly occupied by Toastissimo Cafe. The 2,000-square-foot restaurant, slated to open in mid-December, will be operated by franchisee Dave Hasselberger, who owns four other Nature’s Table Cafes in Central Florida, according to a news release. Hasselberger also was formerly an executive with the chain.
The new restaurant represents a return to the original The Garden Patch restaurant that Nature’s Table owner Dick Larsen opened at 25 E. Church St. in 1977, the release said.
