An Atlanta-based restaurant chain with 430 stores nationwide is looking to add Chillicothe to its stable of locations.
Huddle House, a 24-hour, sit-down, diner-style restaurant offering such items as signature sandwich platters, steak dinners and grilled food, confirmed Tuesday it is actively seeking a franchise owner to locate a unit in Chillicothe. Debra Webb, franchise development director for Huddle House, said Chillicothe is an attractive market for what the restaurant has to offer, both in population size and the lifestyle of area residents.
“We like that good old hometown (feel),” Webb said. “I’m not looking for a commuter community.
“People live, eat and work in Chillicothe. They’re not driving elsewhere to do those things.”
The average Huddle House restaurant brings with it 20 new jobs to the community.
