Distinction Group Inc., a trusted leader in the Canadian commercial building maintenance industry, is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement in principle for the acquisition of 67% of the shares of Immotik Inc. and Immotik Electrik Inc. (“Immotik”) by GDI subsidiary Montcalm Technical Services Inc. This partnership will enable GDI to strengthen its technical services platform and generate revenues from consulting services, automated building energy control and management services and electrical services, as well as teaming up with skilled, experienced partners in building technology. The transaction, which is subject to due diligence, is expected to close on January 30, 2009.
