Pudgie’s Pizza, Pasta & Subs, which has been out of the Triple Cities for some years, apparently is planning a return engagement.
M.P. Cleary, the Elmira-based chain which has locations in Elmira, Waverly, Dundee, Rochester and Canandaigua, as well as Mansfield, PA, recently purchased for $200,000 and began renovating a former restaurant at 224 Robinson Street, once occupied by Carnsie’s, a neighborhood pub that closed after a fire in 2003.
It briefly was occupied by the G. Bailey’s pub, but it closed last summer.
