Bob Rehan said he took his class from the Jerry L. White Center, a school for the disabled, on a field trip.

The class stopped at Quizno’s sub shop for lunch.

When Rehan walked into the store with his 2-year-old golden retriever, Martin, he was told he could not come inside with the dog.

Rehan said he and his colleagues tried to explain that under the law the dog is allowed to come into the store.

Rehan said the clerk did not care.

Rehan said he was going to call the police but decided against it because he was there with his students and did not want to get them involved.

Rehan has filed a complaint with the Justice Department and various advocacy groups.

Local 4 contacted Quizno’s corporate office and they e-mailed this statement… read it here.
