Today there are so many people embracing the negativity at work of our current economy. It seems as though everyone has their own supporting statistic that proves our world is going to come to an end, this only creates stress and panic throughout your office. Below are a few ways you can stop the negativity in your work office.

· Train your employees on the negative impact that the gossiping about the economy has on your clients.

· Stop the internal gossiping around the office; help to change the subject to something positive.

· Discourage the passing out of “economy doom and gloom” products at the work place

· And most importantly, don’t use and accept the economic condition as an automatic scapegoat. Sometimes, a marketing idea did not pan out because it was just a bad idea. Sometimes, you did not get the deal because you just did a poor job in the sales process. NOT everything is the fault of the economy. If you accept this scapegoating from yourself and from your team, you will find your business deteriorating over time even when times get better.
