Woman Says Selling Clothing From Home Has Enhanced Her Life

Charleston Daily Mail:

Lewisburg resident Julie Hanson said she had plenty of work in her life when she took on another job.

She’s glad she did, because selling a line of Jockey brand women’s leisure and athletic wear from the home has enhanced her life.

Hanson was the state’s first team leader for Jockey’s Person to Person line and last month was one of its top 10 saleswomen in the country.

“I have to admit that I’m not your typical home sales person,” she said.

Hanson has been a cosmetologist at Lewisburg’s Hair Design for 24 years. She’s a married mother of three children, 11, 4, and 2. Oh, and she and her husband run a large cattle operation with 400 head of cattle and sheep, along with a local stockyard.

Selling the clothing line added another dimension to her life.

“It has allowed me to branch out of my normal circle of clients and friends, and I have rekindled friendships and relationships,” she said.
