Tomboy Tools Can Help With Fundraisers

MarshallNewsMessenger.com:

Marjorie Desselle, a local consultant for Tomboy Tools, is urging area businesses to partner with her company for the benefit of the community.

Ms. Desselle, who serves as a representative of the Denver, Colo. based company which sells power tools for home improvement projects, is hoping to sell her tools at local fund-raisers and give a portion of her sales to non-profit companies.

Ms. Desselle sold Tomboy tools during a recent open house for Habitat for Humanity, giving 20 percent of her sales to the non-profit organization.

In the past, she’s participated at events for the BlueCross BlueShield Breast Cancer Walk program. She also participated at a similar function in Omaha.

Ms. Desselle says she does open houses and house parties.

“We try and give back to the community by doing our share,” said Ms. Desselle, who’s been with the company since October. “I’m more interested in doing the fund-raisers than just profit for me.”
