Have A Party, Make Money Too

CantonRep.com:

In the 60 years since Tupperware launched its home parties, the concept has expanded to vitamins, baskets, lingerie, candles, cookware, art, food and much more.

Like many others, Elaine Stroia of North Canton turned to home party sales as a way to supplement her family’s income. She sells jewelry for Silpada.

“For people who may be out of work, it can give them a little extra boost — it helps to know you have something coming in. For us, thankfully, my husband is still employed, so it’s for extra things around the house, and activities for the kids,” said Stroia, a former teacher staying home to raise three children. “It’s perfect for stay-at-home moms. They can work it around their kids’ schedules.”
