Mary Kay For Men

The Coloradoan:

Beer, brats and, well, more beer.

Those are the building blocks of a new business called “Man Cave” aimed at bringing guys together to eat, drink and shop.

Former owner of the Pita Pit restaurant in Greeley, J Measor, of Windsor, was forced to shut down his restaurant when business slowed.

Measor started browsing Craigslist for work when he stumbled across a posting that caught his eye. The post called for someone who liked drinking, grilling and hanging out with the guys.

“I’m a red-blooded male. I like doing all those things,” said Measor, who contacted Darrell Miller, a Fort Collins Man Cave advisor, and signed up to be an advisor himself.

Sunday, Measor will host his first Man Cave “meating” where he will entertain around 15 guys and attempt to sell some Man Cave merchandise.

“The idea is for years women have had Tupperware parties and Mary Kay, getting together and shooting the breeze, drinking wine,” Measor said. “Man Cave said, ‘Men don’t have this. Why don’t we start something that is brand spanking new for guys?’ “
