USANA Hosts 7th Annual Children's Hunger Run

MarketWatch:

Get over the lazy days of summer and help needy children all at the same time–it’s as simple as taking a walk. Saturday, August 28, 2010 marks USANA Health Sciences’ seventh annual CHF Children’s Hunger Run: Stop Hunger in its Tracks at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah. This 5K walk/run, in connection with USANA’s yearly International Convention, helps raise funds for Children’s Hunger Fund (CHF), an organization committed to easing the suffering of children throughout the world.

“In line with USANA’s mission to change the lives of those around the world, we are proud to host our 7th annual Children’s Hunger Run with CHF. CHF does outstanding work in bettering the lives of others, and we are proud to be associated with such a reputable organization,” said Dan Macuga, USANA Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations. “We would like to encourage our Associates and the public to come join in our efforts to benefit children in need.”

Participants age 12 and older cost $20 (early registration) or $25 (on-site registration). Children under 12 are FREE (minimum $5 donation for t-shirt). Onsite registration begins at 6:30 a.m., with the race beginning at 7 a.m. To pre-register for the walk/run or to pledge to support for an existing team, visit www.isupportchf.org/run.

The public is encouraged to join USANA and its worldwide team of independent distributors in raising money for this worthwhile cause. 100 percent of all proceeds generated from the event go directly to CHF to help thousands of children around the world receive daily nourishment, medical care and a renewed sense of hope.
