Kids Tippi Toe Their Way Into Fun

There may be shows on TV that try to inspire kids to get more active, but sometimes that is not enough. That is why Sarah Nuse and her sister created a unique business called Tippi Toes to help pick up the slack. Her business helps get younger kids, between 4 to 6 years of age, live a more active lifestyle.

Caller.com reports that the sisters will be appearing on Shark Tank with the hope that they will receive some funding.

Nuse and Reilly, 28, will try to convince the sharks to invest in their idea, which is to grow their dance company by franchising it faster. Their ultimate goal is to have a children’s TV show aimed at getting kids up and moving through song and dance, Nuse said.

“We’re really trying to get our program nationwide,” said Nuse, who founded Tippi Toes in 1999. “We are the next generation of Barney lovers. It’s clean, safe and fun exercise. Investor money would go toward franchising the business across the country.”

The business partners have seven franchises in Minnesota, Ohio, Missouri, Oklahoma and Corpus Christi. Reilly, Tippi Toes’ chief operating officer, lives in Florida but says today’s technology like Skype and smart phones make it easy to conduct business with her sister in Corpus Christi.
