Heard On The Street: Frozen Yogurt Shop Looks To Stir Up Rochester

Post-Bulletin:

A frozen yogurt chain is berry, berry interested in coming to Rochester.

CherryBerry, which is quickly spreading across the country, is hoping to stir things up and open a self-serve frozen yogurt shop in the Med City by early spring, says franchisee Mark Riggs.

The concept is that customers choose one of 14 flavors of yogurt and then hit the topping bar to create their own customized treats.

With Mayo Clinic and Rochester’s focus on health, Riggs thinks CherryBerry will be a good fit.

“It is a very healthy product. It is an all-natural yogurt that’s not made from a powder,” he says. “And our yogurt is kosher-certified.”
