MarketWatch:
In 2011, Kiddie Academy, an educational child care franchise, saw continued growth in sales, development and openings despite the lingering effects of the recession. The company reported 13 openings, 71 academies in the development stage and over 25 preliminary agreements signed, making it a banner year.
Their 2011 fiscal year, which runs from October 2010 – September 2011, broke a number of records at Kiddie Academy — more grand openings, signed franchise agreements and signed preliminary agreements occurred over that 12 month period than the average of the past five years.
“Our growth during 2011 demonstrates that those interested in our industry see the value of our business — a demand for high quality, educational child care in communities — and see that Kiddie Academy has a successful, proven business model,” said Greg Helwig, president of Kiddie Academy. “We’re looking forward to continuing this trend in 2012 and a bright future for all our franchisees.”
