Denver Restaurant Looks Just Like Momofuku Noodle Bar

Eater NY (blog):

Later this week, an Asian restaurant called Uncle will open in Denver with a dining room that looks exactly like Momofuku Noodle Bar. This is not a coincidence. Chef/owner Tommy Lee tells Eater Denver: “I went to Noodle Bar the first time by myself and it was like someone had taken my entire life and put it into a restaurant — everything from the food, atmosphere, design and attitude was what I craved in my own life.” The menu features pork belly buns and ramen, plus other Momofuku-inspired dishes.

In other David Chang-related news, the chef talks about possibly franchising his restaurants in a new interview with Ad Week. He notes: “There is a very successful fast-food company that approached us and quite frankly took our intellectual property.
