Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill has awarded its first franchises in California.
Denver-based Garbanzo announced Wednesday that franchisee Banzo Bean Inc. has purchased the rights to develop up to 10 restaurants in Orange County, west of Interstate 5, and plans to open its first location in the first quarter of 2013.
Orange County is south of Los Angeles. Banzo Bean’s areas of interest include Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa, Seal Beach and Aliso Viejo.
