Top Ten Franchising Trends For 2011
The future of franchising is looking bright: In September, the U.S. Census Bureau reported that 10.5 percent of all businesses with paid employees were franchises in 2007, the latest data year, and that they generated a staggering $1.3 trillion in annual sales.

As an owner of 2 pet websites, I am hopeful that Entrepeneur.com is right. The list is not surprising, particularly the Tutoring. More and more parents are homeschooling, but like most people, they usually have a weak subject area. Also, as online learning becomes more popular, help is needed, and not necessarily a teacher, but someone to coach the student through a rough spot. Thanks for this insight. 2011 will be interesting…
