Tomboy Tools Is Building Direct Sales Empire

The co-founder of Tomboy Tools can look back at revenue growth of 46 percent from 2007 to 2008, survey the company’s fast-growing number of sales consultants and predict 70 percent growth for 2009. Last year was its most profitable, as the plus side hit six figures.

Tomboy Tools sells tools designed for ease of use by women, teacing them proper use at Tupperware-style parties nationwide. Continuous growth since its 2000 founding has pushed the company into its third home, a 13,600-square-foot warehouse off of U.S. 6 West, near Robinson Dairy.
