USANA Announces Winner In National Rev3 Geocaching Challenge

Market Watch:

USANA Health Sciences, Inc. is pleased to announce a winner in its 2009 Rev3 Geocaching Challenge. Andy Hollingsworth of Cupertino, Calif., was randomly selected as the winner for the grand prize, a $3,000 REI(R) gift card.

The 2009 Rev3 Geocaching Challenge, which started in May, featured a series of 60 individualized Travel Bugs, trackable tags that were discovered by geocaching enthusiasts and moved to new caches across the United States. Participants in the Rev3 Geocaching Challenge received free Rev3 Energy(TM) drinks and t-shirts and were entered to win the $3,000 grand prize.

Geocaching is a fast-growing hobby with enthusiasts around the globe. In a modern-day treasure hunt, a geocache is marked with GPS coordinates shared via the Internet. Enthusiasts use a handheld GPS unit to hunt for the caches.

Hollingsworth was introduced to geocaching by a coworker in April 2005 and has been enjoying it ever since. He also enjoys hiking and backpacking, so geocaching has been a perfect fit with his other hobbies.

“I look forward to using my REI prize money on a new Global Positioning System (GPS) unit. Technology has come a long way since I purchased my current GPS three years ago, so this presents the perfect opportunity for an upgrade,” Hollingsworth said.
