Bodog Franchisees Outline Expansion Plans

Casino Advisor:

Calvin Ayre has franchised the Bodog brand to different operators in different jurisdictions. This week two of the franchisees have outlined significant expansion plans to take their online casinos to new levels.

The European Bodog brand franchise goes by the name Bodog Europe. The new marketing chief of the company, Dee Dutta has stated in detail his ambitious plans in an interview with the publication Marketing Week. Dutta revealed that Bodog Europe is preparing to launch a host of new services soon. This will be backed by a multi-million pound marketing campaign. The objective is to gain a larger share of the lucrative online casino and sports betting market in the United Kingdom. Bodog Europe is setting up a new United Kingdom online gambling web site based on three licenses granted by the UK Gambling Commission. This is expected to go live in early 2012. The online casino is being developed to include a live dealer product, because of the increasing popularity of live dealer casinos. Dutta pointed out that the online casino will receive particular attention because it is a largely neglected part of the online gaming industry despite being the highest profit generator. Horse racing will be added to the site somewhat later. Dutta told the publication, “The key thing is to develop trust with the UK customer. This is one of the most important things for the industry.”
