Soccer Shots seemed like a perfect fit for Matt Tanzini. After all, he played professional soccer for seven years followed by a few years of coaching. Soccer Shots is a youth soccer development program for children ages 3 to 8. When one of Tanzini’s former teammates became an owner in Soccer Shots, he encouraged Tanzini to open a franchise.

“I just fell in love with it,” said Tanzini, who recently brought a Soccer Shots franchise to Seminole County.

When employment opportunities run dry in difficult economic times, a number of people turn to entrepreneurship. When things are uncertain to begin with, it makes sense to look for ways to minimize the risk that comes with entrepreneurship. That’s when some potential business owners begin to consider franchises.
