Make Your Trade Show Booth Interactive with Virtual Reality

Want to wow the crowds at your next trade show event? Then give your booth’s visitors an interactive experience with virtual reality.

Trade shows and industry events are excellent places to market your business. They’re full of like-minded vendors, for one thing. For another, they open up huge possibilities to develop your audience base.

Individuals who pay money to attend these events usually have a specific goal in mind—to find brands that they’d either like to work with or brands whose products or services they’d like to purchase.

Make Your Trade Show Participation Count

If you exhibit at a trade show or industry event, it’s your responsibility to make that time count. Therefore, you need to rise above the competition and make sure that attendees remember your name when they leave the event space.

For this reason, designing the perfect trade show booth that conveys your brand’s story isn’t something you should do on your own. Instead, you need professional exhibition booth design services from a team of expert event marketers.

The right event marketing company will help you to develop a booth that is interactive and engaging. Attendees will remember you better when they’ve had a chance to truly get to know your brand.

Immerse and Educate Your Audience with Virtual Reality

Virtual reality (VR) is a powerful tool because it allows customers to get up close and personal with your products. It empowers you to tell your brand’s story while stimulating all five of users’ senses.

Also, an exciting virtual experience helps people to remember you better. This is because they’ll associate you with that experience for years to come. Moreover, you’ll make a much better impression with multi-sensory technology, as it gives you the opportunity to tell your brand’s story in a unique, immersive way.

Attendees are bombarded with sales pitches from the moment they enter the event space, but the right virtual reality marketing experience will ensure no one forgets your brand.

Meet McDonald’s Happy Goggles

Leave it to the biggest restaurant chain in the world to build a virtual reality experience for customers under the age of 12. In 2016, McDonald’s Sweden created one of the coolest DIY VR experiences to date: They turned the Happy Meal box into a VR headset.

Most of us are familiar with the McDonald’s Happy Meal. It’s been a part of Western culture for more than 30 years. The promotion was called Happy Goggles, and it was similar in many ways to Google Cardboard. That is, it allowed users to fold up the Happy Meal box to assemble a makeshift virtual reality headset.

Here’s how the Happy Goggles worked: After purchasing the meal, users could assemble the leftover Happy Meal box by folding along the lines. (You probably would want to have your child eat the food first.)

The meal came with two plastic lenses that you could pop into the front part of the new headset. The headset came with an interactive, virtual alpine skiing game that could be linked up with users’ smartphones.

Voila! A virtual reality headset for the kiddos!

Bring Your Brand to Life with Virtual Reality

The possibilities for merging virtual reality and marketing are endless. Just imagine how you could bring your brand to life at an upcoming event.

So don’t be like everyone else. Give event attendees something to remember with the power of virtual reality technology.
