Nick-Anthony Zamucen is leading the charge in the crime and trauma scene cleaning industry. His franchised company, Bio-One Inc., dominates in 36 different states and is growing at a rapid rate. It is the first and only successful crime and trauma scene cleanup franchise.
Nick-Anthony, founder and CEO of Bio-One Inc., has taken his industry knowledge to Hollywood and beyond, teaching and demonstrating proper techniques and creating realistic murder scene setups for several television and movie production shots. He is also a published author, business strategist and an award-winning serial entrepreneur that has had tremendous success in various business ventures.
We recently sat down with Nick-Anthony to discuss his core belief that “Success breeds success” and how he has drawn upon his own experiences to create a highly successful franchise with proven results — a perfect 100 percent track record of business owners. All aspiring entrepreneurs should pay close attention to what he has to say — good things come to those who do.
What’s special about the franchise?
Bio-One Inc. is the world’s first successfully franchised crime and trauma scene cleaning company. Others have tried and failed miserably. A good cleaner doesn’t equal a good businessman. Bio-One Inc. coaches entrepreneurs to become successful business owners. We have never had a franchise fail or close once opened. We have a 100 percent track record, that speaks for itself. We focus on helping first and doing the business second. It’s got to be more than just money, you need to have purpose.
What is the idea behind the Bio-One Inc. franchise?
Crime and trauma cleaning is such a fragmented industry that before we started the environment had very little to no standards. We wanted to change that, provide a better quality of business owner, a stronger entrepreneur and help people reach their dreams. We don’t want just someone with a strong stomach who wants to make a buck at the expense of others.

How does it compare to its competition?
Bio-One Inc. franchises aren’t taught to fear or focus too much attention on our competition. We can’t control what they do nor how they do it, so it’s a waste of valuable time. Most if not all of our competition is mom-and-pop shops that are gone within a year. Rather, Bio-One Inc. franchises are coached to drive their business, put people first and always help where you can. I have a motto, “The more I help, the more I’m helped.” I live by that on a daily basis and try to instill that belief and make it a conviction with our franchise owners.
Who benefits from Bio-One Inc.?
More people then you know. Turn on the news for a few minutes, you’ll get the idea. We run a very clandestine operation. Our Bio-One Inc. franchises are in and out with the utmost respect and full digression, usually before the general public even knows there was a situation. That’s how we coach our franchises and hope that we can assist in that manner.
Where do you see the franchise in five years?
I see Bio-One Inc. continuing to grow, advance our market share and dominate every state. We most likely will begin in the next two years expanding internationally. We’ve had many requests to do so, we just want to make sure before we do every franchise receives the support our domestic ones do. Support and training is something we take very seriously, and I believe because of those two items, we haven’t had anyone fail in our system.
Can you describe a typical day in the life of a franchisee?
When a Bio-One Inc. franchise starts their day, they always have a marketing mindset. The only reason they wouldn’t is if they’re on a job helping someone in their greatest time of need. If they’re not on a job, they’re meeting with local municipalities, fire stations, care facilities etc. They are always coached to be on the ground every day working their business.
What’s your background?
I’ve been an entrepreneur most of my life. I’ve owned restaurants, fitness centers, care homes, investment property etc. I know the mindset of an entrepreneur and what they think on a daily basis. It helps me relate to someone who has been just “downsized” from their current position, or deciding to take that leap of faith in themselves, to see what they’re worth. I like to coach and council new entrepreneurs. I’ve walked in their shoes. I can show them the way, if they want to be shown.
What motivates you to keep going?
I live to help people. I try to do so in every facet of my life, whether it’s my church, my community or our franchisees. The more I help, the more I’m helped. It’s a great way to live.
If you were to start again, what would you do differently?
I would not have always looked for what I thought was the perfect Bio-One Inc. franchise. I’ve taken, what I felt at the times, was a gamble on some people. They really have shown me that with the right attitude, the proper coaching and counseling, and the belief in yourself, great things can happen. I thank them for that and applaud their success.
Please tell us your secret to success…
Success breeds success. I believe success large or small leaves clues. When you see a clue, follow it, see where it takes you. Believe in yourself and those around you and success will come to the surface… with ample amounts of hard work of course. Success isn’t easy, but it’s worth it.
What is the worst job you have ever had and what did you learn from it?
I washed cars at a car lot when I was 14. I learned that it rains most days you wash a car. It’s incredible.
What is one thing that really excites you?
Seeing the anxiety and enthusiasm of a new entrepreneur. You can almost smell it on them. It’s intoxicating. It gives me a rush to know we’re on the verge of changing their life. It’s a great feeling.
Any final words for aspiring entrepreneurs?
If you’re going to make that leap and find out how much you’re worth do it 100 percent. No tiptoeing, jump in and go for it. You have to have the mindset that, someone is out there, out working you and trying to take your money. Don’t let them. Fight harder, be smarter and create the life you’ve always dreamt about. Fear isn’t real, danger is, but fear is something you make up in your head because the demons of self-doubt get to you. Control them and be the person you were meant to be. We only have one shot at this, so let’s make your life worth living. I believe in you.
